Average and median asking prices for every model gathered here, with the asking range and the average recorded price of sold cars. Use them as a guide when judging a car — condition, history and originality move an individual car a long way from any average.

Sold prices are the prices recorded when each car sold or was marked sold; auction results are the actual hammer prices.

How the asking figures are worked out: from the priced cars of each model that are for sale now, leaving out live auctions (their figure is a current bid, not an asking price) and any price far outside the model's usual spread (a 1.5× interquartile-range fence — the same basis as the price check on each car's page). Medians and ranges come from the same set of cars. Sold averages cover the sold cars with a recorded price.
